Shorty George
Dancing and loving Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Blues since November 2004, Shorty George traveled for dance. He's lived a year each in Australia and the Netherlands, as well as a few months in Iceland. Living like a gypsy, he toured Europe in 2009 for 11 summer weeks, part of it dancing in the streets alongside a gypsy folk jazz band - the Cangelosi Cards.
Hot and slow or hot and fast, international DJ Shorty George plays to get people dancing; jockeying tunes produced by artists all over the world: New York City, New Orleans, Melbourne, London, Barcelona, and everywhere else. He's DJ'd fast dance nights, weekly social dances, blues parties in places such as New York City, Amsterdam, & Reykjavík.
